Response to the Francis Report
In December 2013 the NHS ESR Central Team published a paper in response to the Francis Report. The response paper itself was published as an aid for NHS organisations to consider when producing local workforce management plans - including actions to address specific recommendations contained within the Francis report.
We then hosted a follow up webinar that was designed to help NHS Execs, particularly HR and Nursing Directors, to better understand the areas of functionality outlined in the ESR Francis response paper. These webinars explored how the provision of reliable information about your workforce can lead to a programme of activities to better manage and support the NHS workforce and associated competence.
